If I weren't so tired, I might
write about my adoration for one of my managers. He’s like a five-year-old you just want to give candy and cookies to because it makes him happy and excited. But you also know you don’t have to take care of him later, so eat! eat! eat!
No, seriously. He asked if we wanted cookies. Because he had a cookie earlier and wanted more. And was genuinely upset that they’d been thrown...

It's Not Just The Birds Who Might Get Angry →
tomewing:
“What level are you on?” a woman asked me on the train to New York.
“I’m on level 12. I just can’t get past it. I’m thinking of giving up.”
“Try pressing the bird again in flight, it pops into three.”
I tried that and it worked. After being stuck and at the edge of despair I was now able to move on. Not that it was it was an important milestone in my life, but the challenge had...
New followers make me nervous.
I always wonder why anyone who doesn’t know me in my day-to-day life would follow me. Because really, on Tumblr, you don’t get the full effect of my hilarious awkwardness. I’ll just try to be a little more Tumblr-awesome. Thanks for sticking around, folks. I mean it.
TUMBLR ATE MY POST....
Edit: Um, ok. Apparently it didn’t eat it. It just held onto it for longer than necessary although I don’t know why it would do that. My fashion choices aren’t that enthralling.

Sound Works Collection: Walt Disney Imagineers
The vision and showmanship of Walt Disney has touched more corners of the world and hearts through his many films and theme parks. Since opening his first park “Disneyland” on July 18, 1955, Walt and his team of dream makers known as “Imagineers” have created many theme parks around the world. The SoundWorks Collection...

That moment when you come home from school, look...
Me: 2004-2007. Also known as the period when I got up at 5:30 for school and dressed in darkness. I genuinely had no idea what I was wearing most days.

Have just watched Elevenwho, ep 1:
Amelia Pond is adorable with her little suitcase and knitted goods.
Amy Pond is gorgeous and kick-ass. (I mistyped that as kink-ass. I’ll reserve judgement on that for later episodes.)
Matt Smith: excellent Doctor. Appropriate Doctor-y craziness levels met. Possibly exceeded.
New TARDIS looks fun and spacious and I want to go to there more than ever.
New sonic screwdriver is less...
When I use the word "fixing" to express that I'm...

For some reason, “fixin’” has crept back into my vocabulary. I banished it thirteen years ago and three years with Christina is enough to bring it slowly back.

I'm still thinking on my politeness rant.
Last week, we evacuated the fields because thunderstorms were rolling in. They’d cut it a lot closer than usual that day and we served coffee until the absolute last moment, so instead of properly taking everything back, we threw everything in the hot dog cart, pulled it under the tent, and ran so we could get our other outside cart in before the rain.
It rained for four hours straight...

Dear Tumblr
oatmeal:
If you’re going to go down, you might as well blame it on an imaginary animal like Twitter did with their infamous Fail Whale. I’ve taken the liberty of creating this animal for you:
Please use it.
Please oh please.

I had good intentions, really.
I went to bed early and everything. But now it’s storming outside. So I’m just going to watch more Miranda. And reblog everything that made me watch it in the first place.
Oh, and:
Thanks so much! I wish I could say it takes a lot of effort and work to make it look like that, but that would mean I could MAKE it look like that. My hair does as it pleases. Which usually means it...

What House Republicans are voting for today

mnpublius:
Today, House Republicans will vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act. In so doing, they will vote to:
Allow health insurance companies to refuse coverage based on pre-existing conditions.
